Skyscanner had just gone through a new rebrand, and wanted to bring the colour pallet to life at this event. So we pitched a Bronze, Silver & Gold package to the client for what we could do for them, and they went big and chose Gold! With a 2 day set up at the stunning Intercontinental O2 it was a dream event to work on. First we pitched a new name for the event Beyond 2020, and then followed with a visual identity that paved a new landscape for the future with a design inspired by topographic map lines. The result is a colourful fun and playful design that brings the venue to life with a wow factor.
The branding items that featured in this project were, Removable Floor Stickers, Rigid Pillar Wraps for internal and external pillars, lift door wraps and elevator wraps and glass balustrade wraps. Some of the free standing items included a large range of custom stretch 3D fabric frames the largest ones being 4.5m H x 9m W in the main plenary taking just 1 hour to erect each. There were then 2 large fabric arches placed in the entrance area with a welcome and goodbye message on as well as 2 Large registration Fabric Backdrops and a departures board with a double sided print for day 1 and day 2. The frames are so lightweight that the client was able to turn this around themselves at the end of day 1.
We also did 25 freestanding wayfinding boards that were cut to shape, and huge polystyrene globe for staff to pin where they were from. Finally we also provided 12x 4K digital screens that the client used to display a 15 min countdown timer between sessions to help everyone stick to the agenda. We set each screen up with a smart plug, and set the times to turn the screen on and off based on the agenda of the day, the event would have run over if we didn’t have these in place.
This event was the best event we have done to date by far, and we have made friends for life too! A huge thanks to the Skyscanner team for putting their faith in us and allowing us to run wild with our creativity. The results speak for themselves.
