How Samsung Branded Their Product Launch in London
Delivering a successful product launch is about more than just showcasing new technology. It requires thoughtful planning, strong visual branding, and environments that guide attendees through the experience. For Samsung’s event at Altitude London, the objective was clear: create a branded journey that introduced new products, supported live demonstrations, and left a strong impression across every space.
Working closely with Samsung’s appointed agency, we helped identify the most effective branding opportunities throughout the venue, ensuring the event felt cohesive, engaging, and aligned with Samsung’s brand identity.
What Was the Brief for the Samsung Event Branding?
Samsung approached the project seeking venue branding solutions that would enhance their product launch while working naturally with Altitude London's layout. The venue offered multiple floors and zones, each serving a different purpose throughout the day.
Maintaining visual consistency across event spaces is essential when working with multi-level venues, helping attendees feel guided and ensuring brand messaging remains clear from arrival to departure.
Defining the Event Objectives
The key goals were to:
- Create a strong visual welcome for attendees.
- Clearly present new product ranges.
- Support long presentation sessions without distraction.
- Enable hands-on product demonstrations.
- Tell a clear product story through design.
By understanding how attendees would move through the venue, we were able to recommend branding elements that added value rather than visual clutter.
How Was a Strong First Impression Created at the Registration Area?
First impressions matter, especially at a product launch. The registration area was identified as a priority space where branding needed to make an immediate impact.
Installing a Large Welcome Wall

We delivered a large-scale welcome wall measuring 10 metres wide and 4.5 metres high. Positioned at the event entrance, this installation immediately set the tone for the day and introduced the Samsung brand with bold confidence.
Welcome walls of this scale are incredibly popular at Altitude London and consistently perform well across a wide range of events. They create a clear sense of arrival and excitement that resonates with attendees before the event officially begins.
How Was the Main Auditorium Branded for Maximum Visibility?
The main auditorium was where attendees spent the longest uninterrupted period of time. With nearly two hours of presentations and meetings, this space offered a valuable opportunity for sustained brand exposure.
Using Sound Panels as Branded Surfaces
Rather than installing freestanding signage, the decision was made to brand all 10 sound panels on either side of the auditorium. These panels were printed with product imagery and key messaging related to the new product lines being launched.
This approach allowed Samsung to:
- Reinforce brand visibility throughout presentations.
- Showcase multiple products at once
- Use the available surfaces efficiently.
- Keep attention focused on the speakers.
By allocating budget to this area, Samsung maximised impact in a space where the audience was already engaged and attentive. Strong brand visibility in business environments is particularly important in spaces with long dwell times, where repeated exposure reinforces key messages without overwhelming the audience.
How Were Hands-On Product Demonstrations Delivered?
Following the presentations, the event transitioned upstairs for lunch and breakout sessions. This part of the day focused on interaction, exploration, and live demonstrations.
Creating Flexible Demo Stations

To support hands-on engagement, we supplied flexible demonstration pods designed to hold branded technology. These pods allowed Samsung to display products clearly while enabling 360-degree access for attendees.
This setup supported open Q&A sessions and encouraged natural interaction between guests and products. It was a key client requirement, and the solution was delivered on brand and within budget. The flexibility of the pods also allowed the space to adapt easily throughout the breakout sessions.
How Was the Evolution of Television Brought to Life?
One of the headline product launches at the event was Samsung’s Art TV range. Designed to resemble framed artwork, this product was positioned as a major step forward in television design.
Designing a Visual Timeline Installation

To support this narrative, Samsung wanted to show the progression of television over time. The main bar area on the 29th floor was selected as the ideal location for this story. We produced a 12-metre-wide printed timeline that visually tracked the evolution of television over the decades.
The design combined strong typography with graphic elements, guiding viewers naturally toward the latest innovation represented by the Art TV range. Placed in a social space, this installation encouraged attendees to stop, read, and engage while networking.
What Additional Branding Elements Were Used Around the Venue?
Alongside the larger installations, smaller branded touch points were used to maintain consistency throughout the venue.
Supplying Stretch Fabric Frame Systems

We provided stretch fabric frames that were rented by the client and dressed with custom-printed graphics. These frames are a cost-effective way to create branded surfaces without permanent fixings.
They work particularly well in breakout areas and around product demonstrations. An added benefit is that clients can keep the fabric graphics and reuse them at future events, while the frames can be rented again for other locations. These elements helped carry Samsung’s branding throughout the venue without overwhelming the space.
What Was the Overall Outcome of the Samsung Event?
While this was a relatively small event in terms of scale for Altitude London, it delivered high-quality branding across every key touch point.
Delivering Impact Where It Mattered Most

From the large welcome wall to the detailed product timeline, each element served a clear purpose. The combination of strategic placement, strong design, and flexible solutions allowed Samsung to showcase its new products confidently and effectively.
The event achieved:
- Clear brand visibility throughout the venue
- Strong engagement during presentations and demos
- A cohesive attendee journey across multiple floors
- High-quality execution within budget
We were pleased to support Samsung with this product launch and look forward to working with them again.
