Overview

The Spotlight Awards took over Troxy in London, an art deco venue with strong colour and detail of its own. Our job was to place the Spotlight identity through the building in a way that held its own against the interior and came out again cleanly the next morning.

Guests met a free standing display wall on arrival, printed in deep teal with the diamond mark and the "It's Time To Step Into The Spotlight" line. Two further walls sat along the main corridor and across the entrance to the auditorium, each one built on a fabric frame and weighted rather than fixed, so nothing touched the listed surfaces.

Printed door graphics carried the diamond onto the glass at the foyer entrances, and a repeated-text wall graphic ran the event strapline across a full corridor wall in small type. A curved fabric display wall formed the "Strike A Pose" counter, with the Ashborough repeat backdrop opposite it for photography.

An illuminated light box sign listed every nominee in the foyer, lit from within so the names stayed readable in low venue lighting. Behind the stage screen a printed event backdrop framed the ceremony itself. We surveyed the venue in advance, installed around the build schedule and de-rigged after the awards.
