Overview

To recommend the most effective materials and product solutions, we sent our creative director, Ed, to meet OMD's project lead and graphic designer on site. Together they walked the space to understand OMD's objectives, and Ed talked through options ranging from fabric wall graphics to whiteboard vinyl, making sure the final result would fully meet their expectations.

OMD needed event branding across three floors and the exterior of the building. Every element had to be removable, so the venue could be returned exactly as it was found once the event finished. For the exterior, we produced pillar wraps from durable banner material to cover the large columns at the entrance.

Inside, we used Smart Stick, a fabric-based material, to wrap the interior pillars, a brick wall, the staging, the speaker's podium and the soundboards in the media centre. The material adheres well and can be removed cleanly afterwards, making it ideal for a temporary installation like this one.

To complete the event graphics, we supplied a large version of the event's logo cut from matt white vinyl and fitted it to the front of a bar. LEDs built into the bar illuminated the design, giving the logo a striking backlit effect that drew attention throughout the event.
