Overview

SOAS came to us ahead of their graduation ceremonies, wanting event branding across 25 spaces at their London site for the biggest date in their yearly calendar. The brief covered event wayfinding signage to move guests between buildings, alongside graphics on walls and pillars that would give the whole occasion a visual backdrop rather than a set of isolated signs.

That meant a mix of formats across the site. Outdoor event banners marked the approach from the street, printed pillar wraps carried the graduation identity through the entrance route, and removable window graphics extended the branding onto the glazing at key points.

Durability drove the material choice. Ceremonies run over the course of a week and much of the event signage sits outside for the duration, so every element had to hold up to whatever the weather brought. Just as importantly, all of it had to come down cleanly afterwards, which ruled out anything that risked damaging the surfaces underneath. The removable wall graphics we specified lift away at the end of the week with no residue and no marks on the paintwork behind them.
