How Do We Roll Out Optimizely Signage Across 10 Countries
Producing signage for one office is a manufacturing job. Producing signage for ten offices spread across four continents is a logistics job with manufacturing attached, and both halves have to run at the same speed.
Optimizely gave Hyper Creative two weeks to build and dispatch a full set of interior signage for ten international offices. Here is how we approach a global signage rollout, from the materials we choose through to how the finished units are packed and fitted.
How Does Hyper Creative Approach a Multi Site Rollout?

A multi-site signage rollout is not ten separate orders running side by side. We treat it as one production run split into ten shipments, each carrying a different combination of parts to a building our fitters may never visit.
The Optimizely project covered offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Dubai, London, Stockholm, Sydney, Austin, Minneapolis, Nashua and New York. Every location needed the same wordmark treatment and the same illuminated logo mark, so a visitor walking into the Sydney office sees exactly what a visitor sees in Berlin.
That consistency comes from fixing the variables before production starts. On this project we worked to a specification that locked two paint colours, Forest Green and Chartreuse Liqueur, a defined print colour for the illuminated faces, and an LED colour temperature of 7000K across every lit unit. That single LED figure is what stops the London roundel glowing warmer than the one in Austin.
What Materials Do We Use for Illuminated Office Signage?
Material choice is the part of the job that decides how a sign looks in year five, not just on handover day. For Optimizely we used a combination of painted acrylic, stainless steel and printed acrylic.
Painted Acrylic for Dimensional Lettering

The wordmarks were built from half-inch painted acrylic letters mounted onto a contour backer, which gives the bright green lettering a darker outline and genuine depth against the wall.
We favour acrylic for interior lettering because it holds a crisp cut edge at small letter sizes, takes a sprayed finish evenly, and stays light enough for standard wall fixings at scale. Well made acrylic reception signs keep their colour under office lighting and can be produced in matching batches, which is exactly what a multi-office project needs.
The Optimizely wordmarks ran to two sizes, a 75 inch reception piece and a 50 inch version for smaller spaces, both built to the same construction so they read as one family.
Stainless Steel for Structure and Returns

Stainless steel does the structural work. The returns on the illuminated logo marks were formed and welded into a true circle, and the metal is what holds that shape across a wide diameter without distorting.
Stainless steel logo signs also give you a rigid fixing plane. A wordmark over six feet wide needs a backer that will not bow along its length, and metal is what makes flush mounting possible on a wall that is rarely perfectly flat.
Printed Acrylic Faces for the Lit Elements

The illuminated elements use a translucent printed acrylic face. Light passes through the face rather than around it, so the colour you see when the unit is lit is the colour that was printed, not a compromise between the print and the LED.
Getting illuminated office signage right depends on the relationship between the face, the depth of the return and the LED spacing behind it. The Optimizely roundels were built at 4 inches deep, which is what allows the light to spread evenly across the face instead of showing hotspots over each module.
How Do We Build and Finish the Signs?

Our production sequence for a rollout of this type runs:
- Confirming the specification, colours and fixing details before anything is cut
- Cutting and forming the acrylic letters and the metal returns
- Spraying and curing every location's parts together in one batch
- Fitting the LED modules and wiring each illuminated unit
- Bonding and sealing the printed faces into the returns
- Powering up and inspecting every lit unit
- Packing each set against its destination, in fitting order
Batching the paint stage matters more than it sounds. Cutting, spraying and curing all ten sets together keeps the colour match tight and removes the risk of the Nashua signs coming out a shade different from the Amsterdam ones. On a global signage rollout, colour drift between sites is the failure nobody notices until two offices are photographed side by side.
Every illuminated unit is tested before it is created. Face-lit signage is unforgiving of small errors, and an uneven LED spread shows up the moment power goes on, which is a problem you want to find in the workshop rather than in a reception in Dubai.
How Do We Manage a Signage Rollout Across Multiple Sites?

The short answer to how to manage a signage rollout is that the tracking matters as much as the making. Ten sets of parts leaving one workshop for ten addresses is where multi-location projects usually go wrong.
Each set is allocated, labelled and packed against its destination before dispatch, so the crate arriving in Dubai contains the Dubai signage and nothing else. Handling multi site office signage this way keeps manufacture centralised and installation local.

We completed the London installation ourselves, fitting the reception wordmark and the illuminated roundels across the breakout areas, meeting rooms and the office podcast booth. For the other nine offices, the signage was dispatched to local fitters ready to install.
International sign installation works well under this model because the local team brings the site knowledge while our workshop supplies signage that arrives complete, tested and packed in fitting order. It also keeps client costs down, since nobody is paying for fitters to fly.
Products and Services We Provide for Office Signage
Everything on this project came out of services we run as standard:

- Site Survey to confirm wall construction, fixing points and power access before manufacture
- Built-up acrylic lettering and dimensional logo signs
- Illuminated logo signs and lit lettering
- Installation across the UK, with dispatch and fitting packs for international sites
Your Partner for Multi-Site Signage
For a project like this, successful global signage depends on decisions made before production begins. Locking specifications early, batching finishes, testing illuminated units and packing each set for its destination helps prevent costly issues later. Centralised production also gives brands better control over colour, construction and quality, while local teams can manage installation at each site.
A global signage rollout needs a team that can keep every stage aligned. If you're planning a signage rollout across multiple offices, Hyper Creative can help manage the production, finishing and delivery across every location. Frequently Asked Questions for Global Signage Rollout
Can Hyper Creative handle a global signage rollout for our offices?
Yes. We manufacture centrally in the UK and dispatch worldwide, which is how the Optimizely project reached ten offices across Europe, the Middle East, Australia and North America. We can fit the signage ourselves anywhere in the UK, and for a global signage rollout beyond that we supply units tested, labelled and packed in fitting order so your local contractors can complete the international sign installation without coming back to us for guidance.
What materials do you use for illuminated office signage?
We build lit units from a combination of metal and acrylic. The returns and backers are formed in metal for rigidity, and stainless steel logo signs hold their shape across wide diameters without bowing. The faces are translucent printed acrylic, lit from behind by LED modules at a fixed colour temperature. We confirm the material specification with you before production, including paint references and LED temperature, so illuminated office signage matches across every site.
Do you produce acrylic reception signs for more than one site at a time?
Yes, and producing them together is the point. Cutting, spraying and curing every location's lettering in one batch is what keeps the colour identical between offices. We supply acrylic reception signs in matched sets alongside smaller versions for meeting rooms and breakout areas, built to the same construction. Ordering multi-site office signage as a single run also costs less per unit than commissioning each office separately.
How quickly can you deliver a multi-site signage rollout?
Timescales depend on the sign types, quantities and how many destinations are involved. As a benchmark, we manufactured and dispatched Optimizely's full ten-office set within a two-week window. The single biggest factor is how early the specification is locked, since colours, sizes and fixing details drive every stage that follows. Contact us with your site list and we will scope a realistic schedule for your multi-site signage rollout.
