How Salesforce Took Over Altitude London

When Salesforce brought their Limitless event to London, they needed a venue and design concept that would live up to its name. After a successful run in New York, the next stop had to make an impact, and Altitude London was the perfect choice. With panoramic skyline views stretching across the city, the setting naturally reflected the idea of reaching new heights.

The event was hosted by Datorama, a marketing intelligence platform within the Salesforce family, known for helping brands create more personal, data-driven customer experiences. The goal was clear: to immerse guests in a branded environment that looked and felt like Datorama from the moment they stepped inside.

Turning a Venue into a Fully Branded Experience

The Salesforce team came to us with a clear but challenging brief: transform Altitude London from a blank corporate venue into a fully branded Datorama experience. The event needed to inspire. It needed to feel premium. And it needed to showcase Datorama’s identity, vibrant, modern, and energetic, across every touchpoint.

They also wanted to push the boundaries of what event branding could achieve. Instead of simple wall decals and signage, they asked for a complete takeover:  something that would make every attendee feel like they’d stepped into the Datorama world. With a full day for setup and a healthy creative budget, the possibilities were wide open. Our team’s job was to refine those possibilities into a cohesive, high-impact event space.

Planning the Creative Strategy

Before any production began, we guided the Salesforce team through our Event Branding Document process, a planning tool that helps clients visualise all available options and identify where each element can create the most impact.

This collaborative stage is vital. It ensures that every sign, decal, wrap, and fabric display aligns with the bigger picture: the brand story being told through the event.

Together, we identified key branding zones across the venue:

  • The entrance area, which had to set the tone immediately.
  • The main event space, where branding needed to be immersive yet functional.
  • The demo stations and networking areas, where smaller design details would enhance interaction without distraction.
  • The external pillars and reception areas, which had to make a strong first impression even before guests entered.

From there, our creative team started mapping materials, dimensions, and colour schemes, ensuring every visual cue stayed true to Datorama’s style, bold blues, clean whites, and subtle gradients that reflect connection and clarity.

What We Delivered

Once the designs were approved, production began, and this is where the transformation truly took shape. Over the course of the setup day, our installation team covered multiple floors and branding zones, carefully layering each design element to build a cohesive visual experience.

Here’s what we created for the Salesforce Limitless event:

Eight Custom Tech Stations

Designed for Datorama engineers to host live demos and Q&A sessions. Each station featured integrated graphics, branding panels, and surfaces built for both form and function.

Removable Wall Graphics

Large-scale printed wall decals wrapped the interior, completely changing the tone of the space. The once plain walls now reflected Datorama’s message of innovation and limitless potential.

Floor Graphics

Colorful floor graphics with Datarama robot characters and labels like Data Wizard.

Directional and decorative vinyls guided attendees through the space while reinforcing the event’s visual identity.

Printed Tablecloths

Every surface, from registration tables to breakout zones, carried consistent branding, helping maintain a unified aesthetic.

Photo Booth Props

Custom-made props gave attendees a playful way to engage with the brand while creating shareable social media moments.

4-Metre-High External Pillar Wraps

These towering wraps greeted guests before they even stepped inside, setting an impressive tone right at the entrance.

Illuminated Lightbox Display

Installed in a key area of the venue to draw attention and enhance visual contrast, creating a bright focal point in the room.

Three Fabric Circular Meeting Pods

Fabric circular meeting pod setup with chairs, table, and branded Datorama materials.

Designed for private discussions and smaller group meetings. Each pod was wrapped in Datorama-branded fabric, blending function and style perfectly. Every single piece contributed to the wider story, that Datorama’s technology connects data seamlessly to empower marketing decisions. Our job was to make that concept tangible through design.

Execution and Installation

With the designs finalised, our logistics and installation teams got to work. Setting up an entire branded environment inside a venue like Altitude London required careful timing, coordination, and safety precision.

We worked within the venue’s technical and architectural limitations to ensure every element fit flawlessly, from adhesive wall graphics to the custom tech station builds. Each graphic was positioned with millimetre accuracy, ensuring alignment and symmetry across all surfaces.

Having a full day to install was a huge advantage. It gave us time to refine placement, adjust lighting reflections, and test how the branding interacted with the venue’s natural daylight and evening lighting. The result was a consistent and balanced visual impact, no matter the time of day.

Bringing Datorama to Life

When the doors opened for the Limitless London event, the transformation was undeniable. Guests walked into an environment that felt purpose-built for Datorama. Every surface, every corner, and every digital touchpoint reinforced the theme of data connection and limitless innovation.

The skyline views of London served as the perfect metaphor, stretching out infinitely, just like Datorama’s vision for marketing intelligence. Attendees engaged with the custom tech stations, participated in live product demonstrations, and explored the fabric meeting pods for more in-depth conversations.

The photo booth props became a hit, generating social content throughout the day. The visual consistency of the space not only elevated the attendee experience but also made the event photography and video content more striking and shareable.

The Feedback

The response from the Salesforce and Datorama teams was overwhelmingly positive. The venue had been fully reimagined,  not just branded, but redefined. Event organisers described it as one of the most cohesive and dynamic setups they had ever seen.

Guests commented on how “the space just felt like Datorama”, vibrant, modern, and intelligent. For us, that’s the ultimate measure of success: when the visual environment perfectly mirrors the brand’s message.

What Made This Project Stand Out

Beyond the visuals, what made this event special was the collaborative process. The Salesforce team had a strong creative vision, but they also trusted us to push it further. That mutual understanding allowed us to create something unique: a space that wasn’t just about branding materials, but about how those materials made people feel.

From the sleek finish of the wall decals to the illuminated presence of the lightbox and the practicality of the tech pods, every decision was grounded in purpose. This project highlighted the importance of viewing event branding as experience design, creating environments that communicate brand values through every visual and tactile detail.

Designing Brand Experiences That Inspire

The Salesforce Limitless event proved that great event branding goes beyond visuals: iit tells a story. Every detail, from wall graphics to lighting, worked together to create an environment that felt purposeful and immersive. When design, logistics, and brand identity align, a venue becomes more than a space; it becomes an experience. The key is clear planning, collaboration, and a creative vision that connects people to the brand’s message.

At Hyper Creative, we design, produce, and install branding that transforms venues into experiences — so your audience remembers not just what they saw, but how it made them feel. If you’re planning your own event and want it to make the same kind of impact, our Event Branding service can help you bring that vision to life.
