Your office environment matters...brand it!
We absolutely love offices and we are so passionate about transforming working environments, such as yours, into places bursting with creativity, productivity and innovation through vinyl surface graphics and much more.
Okay, so let’s be honest for a moment. You’re probably thinking ‘you sell stickers so what possible difference can you make to productivity?’ Well, follow me on a little journey while I explain (briefly) why design in your working environment can, and does, make a huge difference to you and your team’s output.
So, in 2003 an article was published in the ‘Management today journal’ titled ‘The relationship between office design and performance’ and they found some pretty crazy things. I’ll give you the highlights by listing the most amazing four.
1. A visually sterile office can reduce productivity by 15%
2. 65% of workers say that they would consciously improve their performance if their offices were made more engaging.
3. 1/3 of workers were ashamed to bring clients to their offices because of its appearance
4. The physical workspace is responsible for 24% of job satisfaction
Wow, what massive numbers and what a huge opportunity that could be taken hold of by making a few simple changes. The most amazing thing is that these changes do not have to cost the earth. On that note, it is so important to remember that cost doesn’t destroy value, but adds it back in abundance through increased economy, productivity and motivation.
Okay, so I can hear you thinking again ‘come on, you really believe graphics can do all that?!’ Well my answer is annoyingly Yes and No; let me explain. I certainly agree that graphics are not the only way in which you can kit out your office and, in all honesty we would always recommend a more holistic strategy anyways (which we also offer). However, graphics can play a huge part in transforming your space into a place that is vibrant, engaging and bursting with brand personality.
So to summarise. Your work space really matters and the physical space that you spend your working days actually has a profound impact on the output that you and your office chums produce; you'd better believe it! Therefore, I urge you to take hold of this simple opportunity to create an environment that facilitates the best from each and everyone in your workplace family.
